Condominium Remodel Rancho Mirage,CA C H A L L E N G E Turn a dark, dated, cramped small condo into a cool, serene home utilizing the space efficiently. S O L U T I O N We ripped everything out! Natural bamboo flooring was laid throughout to provide continuity to the small floorplan. Used warm toned stone tiles in bathrooms, accented with seaglass and chrome. Black lacquer kitchen cabinets, black granite countertops and a seaglass tile backsplash added drama and elegance to a very visible kitchen. Walls were painted white to brighten rooms and provide a neutral palate to highlight custom artwork and offset the Celedon and chocolate brown accent colors. Custom interior doors were fitted with shoji screen glass inserts to provide additional light and interest. Clean lined furniture was kept low to give rooms height and allow an easier flow between open living spaces. A pebbled Zen fountain was built outside on the patio providing a tranquil place to sit and listen to the soothing sounds of water floating throughout the space when the patio doors are open. Keeping accessories to a minimum, the appearance is cool, serene, modern yet comfortable. |
